We train all permanent makeup applications utilizing the “SoftTap Method” of implantation using different needle configurations of the microblade. The “SoftTap Method” is preferred for PMU because it is considered a very gentle and controlled technique, using a hand-held tool to deposit pigment into the skin with a tapping motion, resulting in a more natural looking outcome with minimal trauma to the skin, making it suitable for even sensitive skin types and often causing less discomfort during the procedure compared to other methods like microblading.

BEWARE OF ONLINE PMU COURSES – Think twice about enrolling in classes that promote 100% online training. Cosmetic tattooing IS NOT A SKILL TO BE TAUGHT AND/OR LEARNED ONLINE! Not to mention, most states have strict guidelines to adhere to which require you to practice in a licensed, inspected facility. You will not be fully prepared and ready to operate within your state licensing requirements.  Invest your time and money in a PMU school that only offers hand on, one of one training! What do I need to do to register for a class?

Just give us a call! We will inform you of openings available in upcoming classes and you can select the time-frame most convenient. Deposit $500 to reserve your seat!

Yes, a phone consultation is required after registering for a class. This allows us to get to know you, understand your goals for the training, and ensure we can support your learning journey effectively.

You will be expected to study your training manual and complete a pretest prior to arrival. You will also need to complete an online Bloodborne Pathogens Training and bring a copy of the certificate of completion with you.”

You will leave with enough supplies to practice on until you order and receive additional supplies. We will go over a complete list of everything that you will need to invest in upon completion. In addition, you will be provided with a list of recommended supply stores so that you can begin ordering immediately.

You will receive a Training Manual, a starter supplies kit , Certificate of Completion, Procedure and Training Pictures, Client Forms as well as on-going Telephone Support to answer questions when/if they arise.

Absolutely! It is important that you are a testament for the process so that you can identify with your patients. In addition to live models, students work on one another.

You will want to bring the following – your training manual along with completed assignments, notebook, pens/pencils/highlighters, great attitude and an eagerness to learn!

Absolutely! We are conveniently located in Kalamazoo with several hotels to choose from along with restaurants and shopping. 

If you’re traveling in, we’ll provide a list of nearby hotels, restaurants, and shopping options. Additionally, we may be able to connect you with another student to share hotel room costs, if there’s mutual interest.
